Green Veggie Mix

In addition to quality carbs, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, all plants have non-nutritive chemical compounds called phytonutrients. Green veggies are full of chlorophyll, lutein, isothiocyanates, & quercetin, all-powerful phytonutrients! Their health benefits range from anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Veggie mix is a fantastic addition to any diet and is simple to make at home.


Ingredients:

  • Green Leafy Veggies

  • Cucumbers

  • Microgreens

  • Parsley

  • Wheatgrass powder (optional)


Directions:

1. Gather all your produce.

2. Peel the produce stickers off.

3. Rinse all produce.

4. Cut ingredients into small pieces for easy blending.

5. Add everything except the wheatgrass powder into a blender and add ½ cup or 125mL of filtered water, bone broth, or coconut water and blend. More liquid may be needed depending on the wateriness of the veggies.

6. Finally, to thicken up the blend – add a tablespoon of wheatgrass powder per 8oz to thicken the mixture up.

7. Feed!


Dosage –

1/2-1 tsp. small dogs

2-3 tsp. medium dogs

1-2 tbsp. large dogs
