Neutral Energetics

Updated: May 15

Each animal has a unique energy that thrives off of being balanced. Neutral energy is in perfect balance with yin and yang and, therefore, can work in synergy with other energies as well.

Neutral energy can reduce the harshness of highly cold or hot foods. It is also great for maintaining balance in the body. Neutral energetics is a great all-around addition for any energy type as they will not push an imbalance further out of balance.

Neutral energetics showed above: wheatgrass, sweet potatoes, pumpkin puree, hemp seeds, bee pollen, raw honey, slippery elm bark, rainbow carrots, GFF beef lung, GFF beef marrow bones, PR quail, canned sardines, canned oysters, & yarrow (book page)

Neutral energetic beings are found to be uncommon these days. Still, some signs that you or your dog have neutral energy are even temperament, very adaptable, and generally do not show signs of hotness or coldness.

If a dog with neutral energy shows signs of imbalance (allergies, yeast, slow digestion, etc.), adding foods with the opposite energy (TCM Nutrition Therapy) may help keep the animal in a neutral state. But, if they are already in balance, they may benefit from eating a diet comprised of more neutral energetic foods such as beef and salmon.

Another way of feeding neutral energy is feeding the dog on a seasonal basis, which plays opposite to the weather. For example, feeding mainly hot/warm foods in the winter and cooling/neutral in the summer.
